Do You Know?

Do you know that if you were to die at this very moment where would you spend eternity? The Bible is very clear that there is a Heaven (Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”) and a Hell (Luke 16:23 “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments”) no matter what anyone may say. The Bible is also very clear that we are all sinners by nature (Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one”) and that there is a price for the sin that we commit. The price for our sin is death (Romans 6:23a “For the wages of sin is death;”).

The good news of the Gospel is that God loved each and every one of us so much that He provided the payment for our sins by sacrificing His only begotten Son the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23b “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”, John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”). Now the tragedy is that people from all walks of life, even those that we consider to be “good” people, will spend eternity in the lake of fire. But why? It will be because they never accepted the payment for their sin (John 3:18 “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”).

How about you? Have you ever been born again? God made Salvation so simple. First, you must realize that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour. Second, you must confess your sinful condition to God and repent of your sins. Third, you must believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and that God raised Him on the third day. This is the biblical way to salvation: Romans 10:9-13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

This is the only way to be born again. Friend, if you know that God is dealing with you right now, please do not wait. God has never promised you tomorrow. Today is the day of salvation!
